Program Listings

Westmoor Park offers a variety of programs for school children, organized groups and the general public. From animal studies to natural history and garden design, the park's programs provide exciting opportunities for hands-on learning year-round.

The park is well-known for its preschool programs, which are open to children as young as one with a parent or guardian.  Designed to introduce youngsters to the wonder of nature, these programs include participatory activities and outdoor adventures.

Westmoor's instructors, working in cooperation with teachers from area school systems, have also developed a number of environmental education programs tailored to enhance classroom curriculum.

Westmoor Park encourages all individuals to further their study of the environment. A ten-week internship program is available for college students and a variety of nature programs are offered for families, adults and hobbyists.
